The trick to keeping costume jewelry looking new? clear nailpolish, go figure

I had always suspected and recently read an article about it

1) Just lay out a piece of clear wrap or a freezer bag

2) lay out the jewelry and paint away

I let it dry for about a half hour then flip it and do the same on the other side

Apparently its the moisture from our skin that turns metal color
