Wow what an emotional day for all

It was a crazy ride to say the least, mother nature, you've rained 2 out of our 3 years now.  If your pattern is on track then no rain next year

We're all in this together and open public conversation regarding mental health, suicide and bullying of any type is key.  Thank you everyone for your support and helping to spread the word Pssst...bullying is out! Pass it on

The ride started at Trev Deeley Motorcycles  They have been very generous to us from the start and came on board as a sponsor in our 2nd year, part of the family they are, smooch

Once we left Trev's it was onto our second location Ruby Creek Art Gallery in Agassiz.  We were honored guests of the Skawahlook First Nation and they've come onboard as a sponsor, hugs

We rocked out to tunes from Lost and Loaded

Our silent auction tables were full to the brim with very generous donations, thank you tons all donors

Carol Todd, you have turned an absolute tragedy into meaning for us all.  We adore you and your positive words.  I'm certain Amanda is your biggest fan

Vancouver Folk Music Festival 2015 - Globedater, electronicGIG, Dark Works Fotos

Was super excited to be asked by my dear friend Ken from electronicGIG to join him covering media at The Vancouver Folk Music Festival.  He also recruited Rob from DarkWorksFotos

It was my first hands on gig in the music industry .... LOVE IT!!!!!!

Kudos to The Vancouver Folk Festival from the big to the very small, I saw nothing but smiles

It was exciting to walk by a stage and think OMG that is brilliant, run back to the media tent, request an interview and hope that performer cruises over and grants your interview.  I was so lucky, everyone I wanted to meet was warm, funny and generous with their time.  The only artist I regret not meeting is Hawksley Workman.  Since it was my first time I didn't realize he was only performing opening night and would not be in the park the following days

Next year I'm certain we could interview every performer between us

Ken and I decided to create a short intro clip as we updated on FB and Twitter non stop throughout the festival and wanted viewers to see who we are.  On electronicGIG FB we refer to ourselves as KB and KC so followers know who posted

Organizer Linda Tanaka was my first interview.  I am literally compelled to meet anyone involved in putting together such a large scale event so seamlessly



Next up Jasper Sloan Yip, good old hometown boy.  He is fabulous

This one is so adorbs Lindi Ortega.  Yep that's me, did a great job picking the thumbnail on this one, whew, she looks scared

Had the best interview with Grace Petrie but lost it, yikes technical difficulties Batman.  I love her teeth, Ken loved her choice in shoes

We seemed to run into them a few times over the 3 days, their sound is sweeeeeet

Met a great lantern gal, she visited with us everyday as the lantern shack was right beside us

Last day and Ken got a bit of heatstroke so chilaxing

Dunbar Theatre - Short Film Introduction

You learn something everyday, I've done red carpet events with so much noise in the background and still gotten great sound.  Not this one, boyz!!! hold the mic up to your mouth, LOL.  While I was adding the sound I had crazy fantasies of dubbing the low talkers over with my own voice, the conversation was hilarious ... I'll tell you about it one day... should do a trailer

I swear this was one of the funnest interviews I've ever done, lots of chuckles

I was over the moon excited when Susan Skemp - Executive Producer - Actor - Singer, who I admire, invited me to interview the trio.  They're creating a 12 minute short film highlighting the Dunbar Theatre throughout the decades.  Not surprisingly located in one of THE MOST Uber neighbourhoods Vancouver has to offer, the theatre is celebrating its 80th Anniversary

Ken Charko - Owner - Executive Producer is so enthusiastic, I found myself tickled to be part of it

James E Taylor - Director was a joy to meet, very comical by nature.  As Directors go, he prefers to be behind the camera however with a little push I was able to get him at the very least to sit in the second row

Truthfully, if I was them ... I'd have me do red carpet interviews at the premiere

b.b gun Leather Launch May 2015 Dustin Bentall - Spencer Baker

Was alot of fun stopping by b.b gun leather.  Looks can be deceiving, from the alleyway just another garage door but inside, well you better like stuff!!!!  More stuff than you could imagine, swear it would take days to take it all in.

This multi use space of creativity compares to having the best tree fort in the neighbourhood

I was lucky enough to have some time with Dustin Bentall and Spencer Baker bbgunleather
