Bikes Against Bullies 2014 Fundraiser

Every year my family throws a fundraiser to benefit The Amanda Todd Legacy Society

Amanda is from our neighbourhood and we cherish her family and want to support all their efforts to spread awareness and open public conversation regarding bullying and mental health issues

This year was an incredible success!

We doubled participation in just our second year, BAM!!! take that

This was quite the learning curve for us as we added a second location and a ride.  We've already hashed out better ways to do things next year

We can not thank everyone involved enough, The Todd Family, Trev Deeley Motorcycles, The cities o:f: Port Coquitlam, Coquitlam, Port Moody, Burnaby and Vancouver + all the volunteers and donors, you are the glue baby

The ride began at the Port Coquitlam Recreation Complex and ended at Trev Deeley Motorcycles for continued festivities

T and T are the lead bike for 125+

I have been having problems with my Windows Updates and because of that I couldn't get any pictures or videos off my camera, ARGH!!!! All fixed now though

Trev Deeley Motorcycles - Ladies Only Garage Party

Had A LOT of fun at Trev Deeley's Garage Party

Safety is everything when riding a motorcycle.  The proper gear and fit, styles and riding level of the bikes and most importantly how to pick it up if you dump it.   I did it, well sort of.  While viewing the footage I came to realize actually 2 other people were helping, LOL!!!!

Garage Party is a safe environment for ladies only to ask those beginner questions .. you know ... the ones that sound silly but you really want to know

Doggy Daycare Spa Wash Amanda Todd Society Fundraiser 2014

Had the pleasure of attending an Amanda Todd Fundraiser today

It was nice to meet Christy.  Her selfless fundraising efforts raised close to $1500.00 for Amanda's Society. They do great work with raising awareness towards Bullying and Mental Health

Way too go to all the volunteers that chose to spend their Family Day caring and sharing

Special thanks to Dr. Bassi of the 186th Street Animal Hospital for the use of his facilities and his kind donation, you sound like a gem!

It was great to meet some new friends and see some other volunteers I have met before
